Mary Lee Arnold, 66 of Oklahoma City Oklahoma was born on July 29, 1944 and passed away on August 3, 2010. Mary has been a member of South Lindsay Baptist church since 1991. Mary was a beautician for 25 years. She was the owner and operator of Mary Lee's Beauty Shop. She enjoyed being with her friends and especially her family.
She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Hornberger of Oklahoma City and Sandra Smith and her husband David of Choctaw; seven grandchildren Shawnda Syrus, Cecilia Kennedy, Philip McDonald, JC Hargis, Randy Hornburger, Anna Hargis and Wyatt Hargis; six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmyn and Jayden Syrus and Kailyn Gray, Carson McClure and Bradley Flores; seven brothers and sisters, Elbert and wife Ethel Smith, Eldon and wife Marsha Smith, Sharon and husband Bill Ragland, Clarence and wife Lynne Smith, Gene and wife, Jackie Asbery, Doris and husband Michael Ventris,Ronnie and wife Julie Asbery, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents,Orville Smith and Mary Asbery;son John Calvin Hargis and brother, Orville Eugene Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 6, 2010 at South Lindsay Baptist church. Interment will follow to Jones Cemetery in Jones Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, in Moore, Oklahoma.
