WRECK TAKES LIFE OF GRAVETTE MAN

A 23 year old Gravette man died in a one car accident north of Sulphur Springs Monday night of this week.Charles Lee Buffer, of Rt. 2, Gravette, was alone in the vehicle which ran off the road about one-half mile south of the state line. The accident occurred about 8:45 p.m..Mr.Buffer was born June 19, 1954 and he was employed by Peterson Industries as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Freda Brinkley Buffer of the home; four sons, Charles Dee, Sean (should be Shawn) Eugene, Cody Lynn and John (should be Johnny) Lee all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buffer of Gravette; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Thompson; three sisters Mary-lea, Frances Maybelle and Kathy Buffer, all of Gravette.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Terry Hunsaker officiating. Burial will be at Georgia Flats Cemetery, west of Gravette, under the
direction of Callison-McKinney.

The Doctor said that Charles died from a heat stroke.He had been hauling hay with some of his friends.He died on the way home.
