James Monigan, 60 years old and a laborer, employed on a new building at 740 Washington street, Manhattan, was instantly killed yesterday afternoon while at work by being struck on the head by a hod which fell from the seventh story. Monigan’s body was taken to his home, at Ninety-second street and Battery place, Fort Hamilton.
