In March, 1889, she moved with her parents, Lyman L. & Susanna (Leamer) Leslie, to LuVerne, Minn. On August 24, 1889, she married Newton Asbury Chase. The had three daughters and two sons. One son, John L., preceded her in death 3 yrs ago. In March, 1906, the family moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado for 3 yrs, then in 1906, moved to Ovid, CO. She & husband resided in Segewick for a short time, living with a granddaughter, Mrs. Carl Williams & family.
