Louise A. Simonetti, 82, of Oakmont died Thursday (Oct. 25, 2001) at UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh.
She was born March 18, 1919, in Catfish.
She worked in the classified advertising department at the Pittsburgh Press for five years.
Mrs. Simonetti was a member of St. Irenaeus Roman Catholic Church and the American Association of Retired Persons, both in Oakmont.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Margaret "Peggy") Dunmyre of Penn Hills and Mrs. Richard (Doris) Dietz of Harmar, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Simonetti, in 1980; her parents, Emilio and Maria Cagna Stocchi; two brothers, Chick and Frank Valenti; and two sisters, Thelma Ovamio and Rose Antioch.
Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME INC., family-owned and-operated, 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, where a service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Officiating will be the Rev. Jeffrey Murph of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Oakmont. Burial will follow in Verona Cemetery, Oakmont.
