Loyal M. Bjornstad Of Kirkland Washington, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2007. He was 80 years old. Loyal was born in Rolette, North Dakota on July 22, 1926. He went to Mt. Baker High School in Bellingham, WA, in which he left early to join the Navy during World War II. He loved his family and friends very much. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin & Mervin Bjornstad, his loving wife Christie A. Larsen-Bjornstad, and sister, Sis (Deloras) Strand. Loyal is survived by 1 brother, Leonard Bjornstad and 4 sisters, Dorothy Bianchini, Darlene Gardner, Donita Cone & Louie (Donna Lou) Leininger, and 1 son, Mark Bjornstad, 1 step-son, Christopher Witham and 3 daughters, Marlene Bjornstad, Maxine Bannon & Janice Strand, 12 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on 7/23/07 at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, WA 98036, followed by graveside service. Memorial donations: The Cancer Society.
