Steven D. Neubauer, 51, of Washington, was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, in Washington.
He was born Jan. 12, 1962, in Joliet, Ill., to Charles and Beverly (Reiners) Neubauer. He married Beth L. Ingles on March 26, 1988, in Morton.
Surviving are his wife, Beth Neubauer of Washington; his parents of Morton; and one brother, Craig (Sandy) Neubauer of Morton.
Steven worked as an operator and mechanic at Otto Baum for 27 years.
He was a member of the East Peoria Boat Club and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Morton United Methodist Church, with Pastor Lori Harvey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, both at Morton United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.


Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Runners Association, 4722 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria, IL 61614 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
