Services for Walter Affeld, 48, of 502 Union, killed in a US 30 crash late Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in LePell Funeral home.
Born Oct. 23, 1905, in Chicago, he was the son of Richard and Florence (Brownbridge) Affeld. A construction worker, he lived here nearly all his life.
Surviving are his widow, Marguerite; three sons, Harley of RFD 3, and Keith and Richard at home; a brother, Harry Affeld of 1002 1/2 Beech; and two grandchildren.
The Rev. Percy Thomas, First Christian church, will officiate at services, and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at LePell Funeral home from 4 p.m. Sunday until services.
