She taught at Phil Campbell High School for thirty years and was a member of Quinn Memorial Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Sid and Ruby Pounders. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Spry Chapel with Lonnie Oldag and Carl Gilbert officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. . . .
