Courier Journal - Clarence E.(Red) Briel, of 4310 Winter Garden Court, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at his home. He was a manufacturing engineer for General Electric and a member of the Highland United Methodist Church and Woodhaven Country Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy M. Harder; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Allen; a son, Glenn E. Briel; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad W. Briel, Sr, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the McAfee Buechel Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
