Funeral services for Owen M. Ashworth 82, Montana miner and oil company employee for many years, will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the O'Connor Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. E. Warren Pardun will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Ashworth, who had lived in Anacortes, Wash. since 1965, died there Saturday. Services were conducted there Monday. Born April 16, 1888 in Rock Springs, Wyo., Ashworth attended schools in Raynesford. He was employed in the Lehigh mines for 16 years. He later was employed by Texaco at Sunburst until he retired in 1953. Ashworth married the former Wilda Price in Great Falls Aug 1, 1910. She survived, along with a son, Roy, and a daughter Mrs. Alex (Cecil) Campbell, all of Anacortes; another daughter, Mrs. Thelma O'Haire of Great Falls; three sisters, Mrs. S. Sargeant of Lakewood, Calf., Mrs Paul Gorder of Conrad and Mrs. Felix Atkinson of Sunburst; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
