28 March 1945 wrote a letter home featured in the Chilliwack Progress concerning his time spent in India.
Flt. Lieut. A.E. Anderson tells of meeting many local airmen. "About a month ago I met Neill McGregor in Calcutta, also Elmer Jones. I stopped off for a few hours in January at the station where Roy Gleig was, and we spent several hours talking about dear old Chilliwack"

Married:1952- Dorothy Fanny Wilson daughter of Alec Thompson Wilson and Sarah Brodie. Dorothy's parents were from Scotland married Vancouver, BC Feb 2 1924.
