"STORY"
Mrs. S. B. Morris and daughter, Mrs. Robert Hopper, and Mrs. I. T. Hodgin returned last week from an extended visit with relatives in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. Their first visit was at Horse Cave, Kentucky, with Mrs. Morris sisters, Mrs. England and was the first time the two sisters had met in fifty years, their parents having died when they were quite young and the sisters separated. They visited the birthplace of Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Hodgin and found everything, of course, greatly changed. They visited relatives at Salem, Indiana, where a reunion was held of the Morris relatives. Robert Hopper joined them at the latter place and spent a few days. The party then visited at Ramsey, Illinois, with another sister of Mrs. Morris’ and another reunion was held for them. Shelby County Herald, 26 Oct 1910 [Shelbina, MO]
