LORETTO - Ray Augustin, 82, of Loretto, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church with Father Matt Cheeramkuzhy and the Rev. Scott Aleridge officiating. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday at Loretto Memorial Funeral Chapel, Inc. Burial will be in the Restview Cemetery.

The Loretto native was the son of Joseph Benjamin and Louella Brown Augustin. He was retired from Murray. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Viola "Bo" Augustin of Loretto; a daughter, Donna J. Hindman of Loretto; brothers, Louis Augustin of Madison and Ben Augustin of Loretto; sisters, Alberta Joiner, Lurene Krick and Margie Krick, all of Hendersonville, Dene Marks of Tullahoma and Betty Fox of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a son, Gary Lee Augustin; a brother, Tommy L. Augustin; and sisters, Ruby Augustin, Marie Kress and Kathrn Reedy.
