Daughter of John George Kochendoerfer and Anna Rosina Catharina Braz. She was baptized the next day at the Evangelical church in Oberaspach. She married Andrew Wissell in Springfield IL on 18 Jan 1856.

"At the good age of 81 years, 9 months, and 8 days, Mrs Rosina Wissell succumbed to illness due to her advanced years at her home in Partridge Twp...
Rosina Katherine Kochenderfer was born Oct 2, 1833, at Untersapach Oberamt Schwabisch-Hall, Wuerttemburg, Germany, and came to America Jan 3, 1852. She settled in Chicago where she lived for two years and then came to Spring Bay. In 1858 (?) she was married to Andrew Wissell. Eight chldren were born to this union, namely Kate, Maggie, Lena, Barbara, Rose, Andrew, John, and Edward. Only the latter three survive*, Andrew and John having made their home with their mother, while Edward is a resident of Peoria, conducting a well established barber business on Main Street...
Mrs Wissell's death came at 115 am July 10, after an illness of complications due to her age. She was a kindhearted woman and generally esteemed for her charitableness.
Funeral services were held Monday ..at the Evangelical church northwest of Metamora, conducted by Rev KJ Bauerle. The remains were laid to rest in the Evangelical cemetery at the close of services. The pallbearers were Andrew, John, and Edward Wissell, Frank and John Ries, and Frank Dubois." (16 Jul 1915 Metamora Herald).
Rev Bauerle was a pastor of the Evangelical Salem Church, and Black Partridge Cemetery was once known as Black Partridge Evangelical cemetery, so I believe she is buried in this cemetery.
