A Mass of Christian Burial for John M. Deutsch, 32, a lifelong resident of St. Charles, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, at St. Patrick Church, downtown, 408 Cedar St., St.Charles, with the Rev. Daniel J. Deutsch officiating.
Born May 15, 1966, in St. Charles, the son of Bernard and Patricia (nee Norris) Deutsch, he died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998. Burial will follow the Mass in Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva.
Mr. Deutsch was a graduate of St. Charles High School and had been employed by the City of St. Charles for nine years. He was an active member of St. Charles Moose Lodge #1368. John loved reading and enjoyed good times with his family and friends, but the jewel of his eye was his 8 year old daughter, Margaux.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaux Rebecca of Wheaton; his fiancee, Lisa J. Chamberlain of St.
Charles; parents, Bernard and Patricia (Norris) Deutsch of St. Charles; brothers and sisters, Lorraine D.
(Leonard) Johnson of Channahon, Ill., Bernard G. (Jane) Deutsch of St. Charles, the Rev. Daniel J. Deutsch of Holy Angels Parish in Aurora, Margaret D. (Michael) Mastenbrook of Batavia and Matthew J. Deutsch of St.Charles; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Catherine (nee Heisten) Deutsch and his maternal grandparents, John Norris and Helen (nee Eye) Johnson.
