Caleb Bolick Passes at Somerville Home

Caleb Bolick, 76, a resident of this area for 56 years, died yesterday afternoon at Somerville home, where he had been a patient since December, 1956, after suffering a stroke.

Mr. Bolick was born Jan. 3, 1874, at Des Moines, Iowa, and came west in 1894. He spent many years as a farm hand in the Asotin and Peola areas. Eighteen years ago, Mr. Bolick moved to a small Lewiston Orchards tract, where he resided until he entered the home.

Mr. Bolick was a member of the Christian church. He had never married.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jennie Allbright, Asotin; a brother, Millard Bolick, Lenore, NC; three cousins, Tom and Mae Bolick and Lum Green, Lewiston Orchards, two nieces, Mrs. Marjorie Bolton and Mrs. Florence Davis, Lewiston Orchards; and one uncle, Eli Bolick, Asotin.

The body is at the Vassar-Rawls funeral home with arrangements pending.
