HOBBS, N.M. — Services for Glena C. McMurry, 82, of Hobbs will be at 10 a.m. today at Northside Baptist Church in Hobbs with the Rev. Jake Armstrong, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs.

She died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002.

She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Mills County. She married Ralph "Mac" McMurry on July 16, 1938, in Goldthwaite. She had lived in Hobbs since 1942. She was a lifetime member of Northside Baptist Church. She worked at Eifert's Department Store for eight years. She was a member of the Hobbs Senior Citizens.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Mike of Tahlequah, Okla., and Pat of Hobbs; three daughters, Maxine Armstrong and Nelda Helms, both of Hobbs, and Sandra Smith of Houston; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Vista Care Family Hospice, 1515 W. Calle Sur, Hobbs, NM 88240 or to a charity of choice.
