Doris M Sutton, 62, of 703 Trumbull Ave., Girard, Ohio, died at 12:33 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born Aug. 1, 1931 in Butler, she was the daughter of Dale William Byers and Martha Mae Caldwell-Byers-Brown.
She was employed as a bartender and manager at Kuzman's in Girard for more than 30 years. She was of the Protestant faith and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 235 in Girard.
She married Robert Sutton on July 5, 1954; he died Aug. 4, 1980.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Goldie Mishko of Niles, Ohio, and Mrs. Roberta Bullman of Petrolia; two brothers, Charles Brown and John Brown, both of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Vozar, Mrs. Bernice Hepfl and Mrs. Barbara Graham, all of Butler; eight stepgrandchildren; and 15 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson.
Friends of Doris M Sutton, who died Saturay, Dec. 25, 1993, will be received Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday with burial in Girard City Cemetery, Oh.
