Fannie Augsburger was born October 12,1881, died Jan. 28, 1966, age 84 years, 3 months, 16 days. Father died Nov. 24, 1934.

Mother accepted Christ as her Saviour in her youth and remained faithful to the end.

She was united in marriage to Samuel Augsburger, Nov. 24, 1904. To this union were born 2 sons and 5 daughters: Barbara.,wife of Elmer Smoker of Intercourse, Pa.; Anna, wife
of John B. Lapp of Leola, Pa.; Jacob of Reinholds, Pa.; Edna, wife of Elam L. Kauffman
of Ronks, Pa.;Samuel of New Holland,Pa.,with whom she had her home; Elizabeth, wife of Crist Yoder of Vicksburg, Pa.; Mary, wife of William Miller of Lancaster. Pa.

Mother was in failing health the last 2 years and for 1 1/2 years Arie Yoder lived with her and cared for her. She was on the wheel chair for at least 8 months. It seemed her strength just left her.

Sunday, January 23rd, she started with a cough and it got worse, so by Wednesday the doctor was called and he said her lung is filling
up with fluid as her kidneys collapsed. She got weaker and by Friday morning at 2:15 she peacefully fell asleep, and went to be with her Lord. She often expressed herself that she hopes she can fall asleep and not awake again in this world. Her wish was granted.

Mother,
I have memories of my Mother,
That time cannot erase,
Her dark hair streaked with silver,
And the smile upon her face.
She would always greet us kindly,
Was so patient, kind, and good,
How could anyone forget their mother,
I know I never could.
Many days are filled with sadness,
For the mother that I've lost,
How she prized the things we gave her,
No matter what they cost.
But there will come a resurrection,
God will call us, every one,
Then I hope to meet my mother,
When my earthly race is run.
