Cornelia E. Askew, 90, of Folkston, passed away Tuesday January 8 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Norris, SC to the late Miles Austin Evatt and the late Sally Phillips Evatt. She was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Leon Askew and a son: Marion Franklin Arnold.

She is survived by her 2-Daughters: Deborah Arnold Cisco and Cheryl Butler, both of Folkston, GA; and a Sister: Dorothy Bagwell of Greenville, South Carolina; 3-Grandchildren and 4-Great Grandchildren and 1Great-great Grandchild.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11th at 2:00 PM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. David Beckham officiating.

Burial will follow in Camp Pinckney Cemetery.
