"Craig Steven Thompson, age 58, of Green Mountain Falls, CO, passed away on August 31, 2010. He was born Feb. 5, 1952 in Sioux Falls, SD to Hugh (Tommy) Thompson and Leona (Brose) Thompson. Craig graduated from Lincoln High School in 1970 and from USD in Vermillion in 1975. He was a salesperson in the Construction Industry in Grand Junction, CO and later in Colorado Springs. Craig had a free caring spirit and fun loving personality. He spent time with his best friends traveling, scuba diving, skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains. Craig was preceded in death by his father and several aunts and uncles. Craig is survived by his mother, Leona Brose Johnson; four aunts- Mavis (Brose) Overgaard, Centerville, SD, Irene (Brose) Lund, Arlington, SD, Marilynn (Vern) Brose, Shamokin Dam, PA, and Jenola Adams, Sioux Falls, SD; one uncle, Verl (Dorothy) Pike, Lake Preston, SD; and several cousins and friends. Memorial Services were held at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Sioux Falls, SD on September 11, 2010. Inurnment will be in Arlington, SD.
