1st wife Jane Johnston sister to 2nd wife Margaret Johnston McLain. Found obituary index listing for 1st wife Jane and she died the day after son John Samuel Hanna was born on 24 Apr 1842. So probably complications from child birth was the cause.
Samuel's will only lists a wife named Margaret. He married prior to Margaret because the children are born before their marriage in 1843. Samuel's children are not named but mentioned in the will as minors. His will was written in Dec 1846 and proved in March 1847. In May 1847, 4 children have Johnsons named as guardian of their estates. The final entries indicate their majority was reached and thereby their birth years as well.

CASE#727 Samuel Hannah, dec’d, Alfred Keene, Exr, Mar 18 1847, Book B, p 806-807
CASE#733 Martha Hannah, minor, Sam’l Johnson, Gdn, May 3 1847 until Feb 6 1852 final settlement (majority reached)
CASE#736 Andrew J Hannah, minor, Jas E Johnson, Gdn, May 5 1847 until Aug 14 1849
CASE#737 Jno S/Margaret Hannah, Thos M Johnson, Gdn, May 5 1847 until Sep 7 1863 (Jno S.) until Apr 6 1858 (Margaret)
Alfred Keene, named executor, was the husband of Samuel's daughter Elizabeth and they were already married at the time of his death.
Margaret Johnson-Hanna, wife of Samuel Hanna, is on the 1850 census with 2 of the children and she later marries Charles McLain.
Several of Samuel's children's death record informants specified that Andrew was their father instead of Samuel...presumably as they were minors and their grandfather played a parental role later. But Andrew's probate specifies the relationships to them as grandchildren.
