Carrie Mae was 9th child of Frederick J. Bahr Jr. (born in New York) [see memorial] and Fredericka "Riecke" Pleiss (born in Germany) [see memorial]. Carrie was named after her mother's sister. The Bahr family lived in southwest Baltimore.

Carrie, like some of her own sisters, spent some time in Spring Grove, for an unknown cause. She was also a packer for Sharp & Dohme in 1929.

She married Ameil J. Ruffini Sr. [see memorial] and they had one child, Alvin. Ameil already had two children by a previous marriage.

Carrie died at South Baltimore General Hospital.
