Dolly Ardell (Isaacson) Aho, 62, of Cloquet passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer and complications from several recent surgeries.

She was born May 3, 1941 in Superior, Wisc. to Theodore and Ailie (Nyman) Isaacson. Dolly worked at the Blue Room Café and Wood Conversion prior to her marriage to Allen Aho on January 21, 1961. Dolly enjoyed country & western concerts, especially George Jones; collecting old records; and visiting family and friends. She enjoyed golfing and had been a caddy at the Cloquet Country Club. She also enjoyed watching golf on TV

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mavis Hoile, Betty Levine, Shirley Davis; and brother, Theodore "Ted" Isaacson Jr.

Dolly is survived by her husband Allen; sisters, Gloria (Glen) Olson of Sturgeon Lake, Judy Diver, Peggy DeFoe, and Ruby (Gene) Reynolds all of Cloquet, Bonnie (George) Houle of Wrenshall; brothers, Doug and Tom Isaacson, both of Cloquet and John (LuAnn) Isaacson of Thomson; thirty six nephews and nieces and many great nephews and nieces.

Memorial Services were held on Friday, December 19, 2003 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. Inurnment was in Maple Grove Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Luke's Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home.
