John W. Benesch
Graveside services for John W. Benesch, age 68, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Fannin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He died early Saturday in the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center.
Mr. Benesch, a retired farmer, was born June 13, 1917, in New York, N.Y., the son of John and Rose Blaha Benesch. He married Luna Morgan April 28, 1941 in Bailey. He was a member of the U.S. Army serving in France during World War II. He farmed most of his life in the Edhube area and was a member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of the home, a son, John Benesch ; a brother Richard Benesch of Greenville; and two granddaughters.
The family will received friends at the Benesch home at 209 Graham.
