Died Suddenly
The many friends of Ex-Sheriff Erick Ancerson and wife, of Washingtion Prairie, were pained Thursday to learn of the death of their son Henry Anderson, at Devils Lake, ND on Wednesday last. Mr. Anderson was ill only a few days from some intestinal trouble, and died at the home of his brother Attorney W. N. Anderson, where he had gone from his home near Crary for medical treatment, which alas could not save his life.

Henry Anderson was born at Washington Prairie, this country, On Oct 11, 1865, and most of his life was passed upon the farm where he was born. He was an industrious, hard working young man, of exemplary character and temperament, and seemingly of a healthy, hardy constitution, which fitted him for the life of a farmer which he chose to follow. He went to North Dakota about two years ago and took up a claim near Crary, where his brother Edgar is engaged in the banking business, and near which place his younger brother Oscar is also farming. He was unmarried, but leaves besides his aged parents, numerous relatives and friends to mourn his untimely demist.

The remains were brought to Decorah Saturday morning, accompanied by his brother Will, for interment at the Washington Prairie cemetery, Saturday afternoon after short services at the home of Ole Anderson in this city.
