He was a son of James E. and Sarah Ann Lee Harvey. He had at least seven other siblings. John B., William O., James E., Ann E., Bell, Susan A., and Henry C. in order of their births. Alex was a middle child. He evidently lived on the "Harvey Plantation" for many years. He appears on many census records. More hopefully soon.
