Mrs. Carl H. Bendix
Mrs. Ethel L. Tindall Bendix, wife of Carl H. Bendix, 1209 Neilson , died Sept 8,1956 in her home after an illness of several months.
Mrs Bendix was born in Clark Mills. Dec. 20, 1893, a daughter of William A. and Ethel L. Lawrence Tindall. She attended schools in Clark Mills and Westmoreland and moved to Utica in 1914. She was employed by Skenandos Rayon Corporation as a winder until the time of her illness. Her marriage to Mr. Bendix took place Sept. 23, 1914. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and of the Ladies Auxiliary of Utica Maennerchor and was a former member of Utica Rebekah Lodge 257, 100F. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter Mrs. Marion Yeomans; one son, Carl W. all of Utica and two brothers; George and Lawrence both of Clark Mills; one sister, Mrs. Harold Kunz, Clark Mills, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at 2, Wednesday from the home, Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery..
