David Edgar Bear, 74, of the Wellington Hotel, died this morning.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Newville, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles and White Circle lodges, Carlisle.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. John Snyder and Mrs. George Miller, both of Carlisle, and Mrs. Ralph Jacoby, Mechanicsburg, and two brothers, A.H. Bear, Lemoyne, and S.H. Bear, York.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lutz Funeral Home, with burial in Plainfield Bethel Cemetery.

Services for David Edgar Bear, of the Wellington Hotel, who died on Tuesday, were held Friday afternoon in the Lutz Funeral Home, with Rev. Joseph Byers officiating. Burial was in Plainfield Cemetery. The pallbearers were Benjamin Kitner, John Monismith, J.H. Vance, Charles Kepner, Milliard Day and Harry Lintner.
