Steve was born 10/21/1933 to William and Faye (Horney) Wells in Kansas. He attended Olathe High School and graduated in 1952. He was employed at a power plant in Sunflower Ks until he joined the Navy on November 7 1955. Steve was killed in an auto accident on 12/31 1955 while returning to duty from leave in Kansas. He never married and there were no children.
