Raymond L. Johnston, 88, Sinking Spring, died Sunday Oct. 18, 2009, at home.
Born in South Heidelberg Township, he was a son of the late John H. and Ella (Moyer) Johnston.
He was retired from Hoffman Industries and was a life member of the Sinking Spring Fire Company.
Surviving are his companion of 56 years, Evelyn M. Fehr; sister Ellen M. (Jerry) McMullen of Reading; nephew Kevin (Stefanie) Steffey of West Lawn; two grand-nieces and a grandnephew.
Funeral will be Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at 10 a.m., with a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver, Pa. Interment in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds.
