Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ella (Moyer) Johnston and was the wife of Jerome L. McMullen. They were married for 44 years.
Ellen was a member of Swamp Christian Fellowship. She loved cats and was part of the Willing Workers at her church.
Ellen was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond L. Johnston and George Edward Johnston and her sister, Minerva May Johnston.
A viewing will be held Friday, February 26, from 1 to 2 PM at the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services at 2:00 PM with Pastor M. Craig Snow officiating, followed by interment in the Swamp Cemetery.
