CHILD PASSES AWAY FOLLOWING ILLNESS - Daniel Darnell Burden, aged 5 years, passed away Thursday evening at eight o'clock at the residence of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Burden, on Wheeler route one. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence, being conducted by the Rev. Morris of the Courtland Methodist church. Burial followed at Blackground cemetery, south of Town Creek. Interment was directed by the Courtland branch of the Brown Funeral Co., of Decatur.
