Obituary - William Warren Bentley passed away peacefully on November 16, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on February 18, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Sullivan Bentley and Noma Cox Bentley.

Bill graduated in 1959 from Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Idaho. He served in the West Spanish American Mission (California/Arizona) for the LDS Church. In 1966 he graduated from BYU with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Bill retired from the Welfare Services Division of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after 27 years of service. He enjoyed traveling with his family, golfing, family history work and serving in the Jordan River Temple.

He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Naser, on June 21, 1963 in the St. George, Utah Temple. They enjoyed 51 years together. He is survived by: Joan (spouse), 5 children; Kristina (Robert) Dehlin, Gregory (Lindsey), Julianne, Jennilynn (James) Hawkins, Scott (Kristy) and 15 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Darylene (Kenneth) Nickel and brothers; Rick (Adele), Rene (Ellen), Jerre (Jean) and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Bentley Family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Intermountain Medical Center for their kindness and excellent care.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service. All services will be held at the LDS Church located on 10400 S. 2450 W., South Jordan, UT. Interment at Herriman City Cemetery.
