MUNCIE — Teresa (Holland) Scherer, 44, Muncie, passed away April 17, 2007, at Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 23, 1963, in Anderson, the daughter of Diana (Scherer) and Stan Holland. Terri grew up in Anderson and graduated from Highland High School. She received her B.S.W. from Ball State University and her M.S.W. from Indiana University. Terri was a therapist at Park Center in Decatur.

Her memberships include the National Association of Social Workers and National Women's Music Festival. She was an avid Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers fan.

Survivors include her life partner, Karen Emery, Muncie; her parents, Stan and Diana Holland, Anderson; one sister, Julie Killian-Yunker, Anderson; maternal grandparents, Merle and Hazel Scherer, Okeechobee, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Tina and Mike West, New Castle; Dwain Barker, Noblesville; Mark and Vicki Barker, Ingalls; Dean and Cindy Scherer, Frankton; Doug Scherer, Walling, Tenn.; Darlene and Glen Sneed, Cicero; Jeff and Teresa Reeves, Noblesville; and Lois and Charlie Fry, Westfield; multiple Scherer and Holland nieces and nephews and multiple Emery and Floyd nieces and nephews; two goddaughters, Heather and Megan; one brother-in-law, George (wife, Peggy) Emery; and one sister-in-law, Pamela Floyd.

She was preceded in death by Grandma Wise; 4 aunts, Helen Shields, Jacqueline Bledsoe, Dorothy Jones and Marjorie Grimes; and one brother-in-law, Thomas Emery.

A graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis with Chris Knuston officiating. Burial will follow services.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Muncie.
