Due to her poor health Mrs Agard moved from Eagle Grove to the Clarion Care Center in October of 1979 and on May 1st of this year had moved to the Park Manor Care
Center in Fort Dodge. She died early Thursday morning, August 28, 1980 at the Park Manor in Fort Dodge at the age of 88 years, three months and 27 days.
She is survived by her daughters: Betty, Mrs. Duane Harris of Fort Dodge; Mrs. Mary Newsum of Fort Dodge; Mrs. Helen Jergenson of Goldfield; Edith, Mrs. Clarence McIntosh of St. Petersburg, Fla., 19 grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; several great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and her son, Roger, who died in an auto accident in 1972.
Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie F. Agard, were held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Rev Don Callen, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated and the burial was in the family lot at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Friday.
