I met Kenny in 1961 when he and his wife, Mae, came to California for the marriage of their son, Larry, and me. Kenny was the operator of a Texaco station outside of Warsaw, Indiana. He was the main car mechanic and enjoyed a good, widespread reputation for his expertise.
He was a gentle, thoughtful, patient man with an always ready smile. When his wife, Mae became ill and had to quit work and be cared for, Kenny shouldered the responsibilities with calm, patience and loving endurance. Mae died in May, 1967. Since Larry and I separated in 1968, I lost all but occasional hearsay contact with Kenny and his life. I know he married three more times before his death in 1998. I could find no mention of burial or cremation. I hope that information eventually turns up. He was a nice man.
