Frances Nicolai was born Feb. 4, 1938, where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1956. On May 26, 1962, she married Gene Kosbab in Milnor, N.D. They lived in Milnor until moving to Finlayson, Minn., in 1979. She worked as a teller for Lake State Credit Union, Sandstone, Minn., from 1986 to 1996. Mr. Kosbab died in 1996. She then moved to Waite Park.
She is survived by four sons, Steven (Renae), Waite Park, Bruce (Janice), Colorado Springs, Colo., Edward (Margo), El Paso, Texas, Keith (Dawn), Chisago City, Minn.; two daughters, Helen Kosbab, Waite Park, Sharon (Greg) Lind, Savage, Minn.; four brothers, Vincent (Sandie), New Rockford, N.D., Richard (Patricia), Austin, Minn., Gerald (Betty), John (Kathleen), both Milnor; four sisters, Mary Lu (James) Prante, Kathleen (Jack) Rasmussen, all Milnor, Eileen (James) Wilson, Locust Grove, Va., Dorothea (Orville) Erickson, Forman, N.D.; and 14 grandchildren.
Visitation: Tonight from 5 to 7, with a rosary at 5 and a prayer service at 7, in St. Arnold's Catholic Church, Milnor.
Funeral: Saturday at 10 in the church.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery near Milnor.
