Katherine V. Samson Beynon, 86, of LaVale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Born Nov. 9, 1925 in Hampton W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Mack Hinchman and Virgie Simons Hinchman. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Angelo Samson in 1982, and James "Bill" Beynon in 2005; her sisters Thelma Lake and Betty McQuain; one brother, Paul Hinchman.
Mrs. Beynon was a member of the LaVale United Methodist Church, the AARP Bowling League, and the LaVale Lionettes. She retired from the A&P Supermarkets with 25 years of service.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
