Amy Rose (Burson) Briscoe was the daughter of William Mahlon & Bessie India (Jackson) Burson. She was the wife of James Frederick "Fred" Briscoe, born 24 Oct 1912 & died 09 Jan 1981. They were married on 10 Aug 1935, Amy was 17 and "Fred" was 22. Amy Rose & James "Fred" had some 3 children born in Walton County, Georgia: Gene, born abt 1936 and as of 2004 resides in Gwinnett County, Georgia. - Brenda, born abt 1942 and as of 2004 resides in Walton County, Georgia. She married a Derrick Sorrow and divorced him around 1985 in Walton County, Georgia. - and Anita "June" BRISCOE, born 11 Jun 1954. She married a John Calvin "Cal" Anderson on 29 Jul 1974. He was born 08 Jul 1952. Amy Rose passed away at the Walton County Hospital, Monroe, Walton County, Georgia from complications of a stroke!
