Mrs. L. C. Britton, 65,of Alvin died Tuesday morning after a long illness.
She had been a resident of Alvin since 1937.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Briton of Alvin; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Knight of Alvin, and Mrs. A. R. Webernick of Houston; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Dorothy Britton of Alvin; two sons,Ralph Britton of Bryan and Charlie Dean Briton of Manvel; a sister, Mrs. W. L. Koonce of Houston and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. in the Froberg Funeral Home in Alvin, the Rev. C. B. Jarvis, pastor of the Alvin Church of the Nazarene officiating.
Burial will be in Confederate Cemetery , Alvin.
