My Grandmother Mrs. Mary E."Ward" Williams died in a Fort Worth Hospital after falling out of bed an breaking her hip . Nov.25,1965 at 12:10a.m. Mrs Williams was born in Parker County July 21,1902 the daughter of the late Greenberry and Susan (Scoggins) Ward. She had lived in Comanche TX. for forty-nine years. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche.
She was married to Mr.Earl Frank Williams, May 1,1920 in Bay City, TX area (Matagorda). she was preceded in death by one son; Junior Williams,She is survived at that time by her husband Earl Frank Williams; three daughters Mary Edna of Comanche;Dorothy Garrett of Odessa; Joan of Fort Worth;two sons Harold of Comanche,Charence(Cody)Williams of Fort Worth.10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.Rev. S.J. Isham and Minister Clarence Hearron officiated Pallberers were:Kenneth,Pat, Willie,Arliver Williams & Tandy, Service was held at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday Nov.26,1965 with burial at Oakwood cemetery.
