Dollie Belle Alexander, 78, of rural Moberly died at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia on Sept 19, 2003.

Mrs. Alexander was born near Darksville on March 19, 1925, a daughter of John William Heifner and Dora Mae Towles Heifner. A member of the Glad tidings Assembly Church in Moberly, she was a Sunday School teacher and secretary. Mrs. Alexander was president of the Hagar Cemetery Association.

She and Hubert L Alexander were married Nov. 7, 1942, in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death in Feb of 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Guffy.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William and Helen Alexander, Moberly, daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Albert Enslen, Vero Beach, Fla.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kevin and Guyla Alexander and Kili, Huntsville; Greg and Samantha Enslen and Alexander, Burke, VA; Patsy and Brian Winn and Briana, Zachary and Melia, Kansas City; Pamela and Steve Swartz and baby, Vero Beach, FL; John Alexander and Sonya Chambliss and Tyler, Lake Mary, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 1:30 pm Monday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Rev. William Pitts officiating. Visitation will be form 5 until 8 pm Sunday at Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday. Burial will be in Hagar Cemetery.

Memorials to the Glad Tidings Assembly Church are suggested by the family.
