J. W. HEIFNER DIES NEAR HUNTSVILLE; FUNERAL TO BE HERE
J. W. Heifner, 71, dies at 10:15 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tommy Guffey, south of Huntsville, after a lingering illness of about seven months.
Mr. Heifner also is survived by his wife who also lives with the Guffey's; two other daughters, Mrs. Allard Mayes and Mrs. Hubert Alexander, Moberly, a brother, the Rev. Roy Heifner of Moberly; a sister, Mrs. Jim C. Rothwell of LaJunta, Colo.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and Mrs. Mildred Pillars, a step-daughter, whom he reared.
The body is at the Guffey home. Services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Immuel Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. Gordon Whiteside. Burial will be in Hickory Grove cemetery at Darksville.
