Mary married Thomas Leach Sr. in 1813. He was born in 1793 and died Feb. 12, 1826. Thomas Leach is buried on a farm in Evansville, WV .( This farm is presently owned by the Hershmans and is known as the Costello Cemetery). She had 7 children by Thomas Leach.
She then married Thomas Armstrong and they had 3 children. It is believed that she is buried next to Thomas Armstrong in Old Sandy and a tombstone was added for her in June 2005. Next to Thomas is a space that is a little sunk and looks like a person is buried there. The cemetery is very old and a lot of the graves just have a rock for a stone and no names on them.
