This is my uncle and the brother to my father, Bill Arnold, and to Nelson Arnold and Nadine ARNOLD May.

Clint Arnold was 20 years old when he was fatally injured when slung under the wheels of Frisco freight train No.l35 northbound at Flickinger near Hardy (Arkansas). He died enroute to the Jonesboro, Arkansas hospital when the train was a short distance east of Hoxie, Arkansas.

He was the son of Charles David Arnold and Amanda HUDLOW Arnold and the grandson of William Wright Hudlow and Eliza Jane GAROUTTE Hudlow. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Arnold and Malissa Ann COBLER Arnold. He was the great-grandson of William Henry Arnold, Sr. and Mary "Polly" SHOCKLEY Arnold and of Christopher Cobler and Keziah BUSH Cobler.

Uncle Clint was named for his uncles, twins Clint and Ed Hudlow.

His funeral services were held by Captain Workman of the Salvation Army in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Uncle Clint was then taken to West Plains, Missouri where the final rites took place along with his burial in Pottersville Cemetery, Pottersville, Missouri.

He was much loved and missed by his parents and by his brother Bill, brother Nelson, and sister Nadine. Other survivors included his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a whole host of cousins and friends.

(Clint is shown in the picture above with his family. From left to right is his brother, Nelson, then his sister, Nadine, his mother, his father, his brother, Bill, his brother Bill's wife, Audrey, and then Clint. This picture was taken about 1929.)
