Services for Jacob L. Gibbons, of Franklin RD 3, who died Tuesday evening February 6, 1961 in his home, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Buchanan-Schmidt Funeral Home.
Mr. Gibbons was twice married. He was united in marriage with the former Cora Lepley Dec. 23, 1897. She died Feb. 5, 1930.
There were seven children by his first marriage. Two sons and two daughters, Roy, Floyd, Lucy and Alice, preceded him in death.
Surviving children by his first marriage are Elmer and Richard Gibbons and Mrs. Dale (Tillie) McDaniel, all of Franklin. Four grandsons and six great grandchildren also survive.
He was later married to the former Minnie Hodgson, who survives along with a son, Charles, and a grandson, David, of Utica.
The Rev. L.J. Lindsey, of Titusville, will officiate at the services Friday and interment will be made in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
