She married Thurman Preston Hannahs, son of John Tyler Hannahs and Sarah Elizabeth Stephens on 04 Nov 1899 in Monroe County Ohio. He was born on 26 Apr 1878 in Monroe County Ohio. He died on 01 May 1962 in Barnesville Ohio.
Mrs. Mary Emaline Hannahs, age 45 years, wife of T.P. Hannahs, died Friday night at 8 o'clock at the family home 515 Foster Ave, from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Hannahs had been in ill health for three years. She was a member of the Christian Church and had a wide circle of friends in Cambridge. Besides her husband, two sons, E.T. of Cumberland, and G. E. Hannahs of the home, survive, in addition to the following brothers and sisters; V.G. Carpenter, Jonathan, Theodore and Miss Celestia Carpenter, of Monroe County, Leonard, of Barnesville, Mrs. Barnes of
Belmont County. One daughter is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by Rev. F.W. Luce, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be made in Northwood Cemetery. Saturday 26 Nov. 1921 Cambridge Jeffersonian Cambridge Ohio.
