Sister Mary Celestine Kaczor, a member of the Felician Sisters Order, died Sunday at Holy Family Infirmary in Enfield. She was 90.
She was born in Kingston, N.Y. She entered the Felician Sisters Congregation in Lodi, N.J., in 1933 and made her perpetual vows in 1941 in Our Lady of the Angels Province in Enfield. She taught in many schools staffed by the order and remained in active ministry at St. Joseph Parish in Suffield until 1997.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Convent in Enfield. A Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels of Enfield is handling arrangements.
Donations may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund, 1315 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082-4929.
